I'm experiencing some seriously bad distortion of the audio. It's full of clipping (and my volumes are all low), and stuttering. It also sounds like it's got a high pass filter on it. It's so crackly with distortion, it's a mess.

Dr. X we are looking in to it. may seem strange, but have you tried restarting the client? turning the settings on and off? checked your output? and built-in or external sound card?
Rebooted the client, no change. I am using a external audio interface (Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 firewire).
Interesting, when I reboot the client after choosing Internal Speakers, it works fine. So clearly there's a problem with the connection to the Focusrite. But it worked flawlessly before the update. |

I thought something like this might be the case. which is strange, because of course it shouldn't be like this. please try all the "usual" things . of updating the focusrite driver and stuff. turning it on and off and so and I'll try to see if I can get one of those specific ones and try it out here. cheers :)
Update: I rebooted everything. The audio clipping and filtering is fixed. But now I only have the left channel. No sound from the right channel in EVE.
I've tried other audio, it's not my hardware.
Thanks for the help!
